Good Advice and Difficult Decisions

Hi I've been all over the place recently – off to Knysna for 6 days of holiday see photo's and then mentally and emotionally I've been back to school as I reconnected by some interesting intervention on behalf of the Benevolent Universe with a few really truly special friends from the past. I had been thinking about them, looking for them- and at the same time they were looking for me and each other. Eventually we all got hold of each other via various funny convoluted ways. (They aren't on FB- which makes finding someone a whole lot more interesting actually... Making Money I have got such a great person to interview as my successful Artist no 1, but haven't finished that yet so instead thought I'd connect you to the best piece of artist-making-money inspiration I have read this past week. It comes from the writer of Scoutie Girl the blog, it appears in The Daily Worth which I subsequently subscribed to as it is such an inspiring blog as well! My Raw Food InspirationYesterday I managed to find the time to listen to an interview by Karen Knowler, The Raw Food Coach from the UK interviewing Russell James of The Raw Chef.com fame. I didn't realise that she was actually pivotal to his success and he credits her most graciously and humbly for that. They both sound like such sweeties you just want to reach out and hug your computer! It was also soooo inspirational and encouraging regarding obviously first, the Raw Food Journey, but also with regards to making a decision and commitment to being successful in every area of your life and just what it takes to get there. If you want to know how to start your own Raw Food Journey and just the basics about raw food and the why of it- she has the most comprehensive website with so many free resources and a well articulated spiritual outlook on the whole transformation that you begin to experience on raw foods. I love getting her newsletter every Friday. Making a Decisive Move I am struggling with a decision at the moment which I wish I could get more pertinent and OBVIOUS Universal Guidance on eg writing on the wall or in the sky!! I am nervously excited by the idea that has been hanging around my now since last year September of starting my own Raw Food Coaching business, but at the same time I wonder if I am then turning my back on my art journey and why can't I make a commitment to a successful art career??? A slight hurdle on this path: The Karen Knowler Coaching costs A LOT. Like R55 000 or thereabouts-it runs for a year and by the look of the Prospectus you have 1 (one) call a month for an hour...hmmmmmm. *looks doubtfully at her computer* but I can find a way to do this if I really want to - I know me. I could also just work it all out on my own-I am far enough ahead of the people I would coach (many years) to have the answers and ability to guide required. As far as marketing my business- that's all I've ever done in my past work. Marketing and promoting and creatively directing. All the resources are on the net if I really want to find them. Money management, Time management. Marketing a website. How to do Teleclasses. Orgainsing class materials. Coaching Do's and Dont's. How to Listen effectively. How to structure classes and coaching calls. Etc etc. Most of this stuff I know already and am naturally efficient at. I also enjoy learning new things and am quick to do so, so ….But I would love Karen's know how and the jump start she could give my business. Any way-I guess I have to keep on daily watching for the synchronization that will point me in the right direction. By my next blog entry I will no doubt have a Very Clear answer. It always happens. The Universe is My Friend... Till then! lots of love

I wanted to let you know that the coach training has THREE calls per month plus another 3 through RPO. You might want to read it again!

Thanks again, Karen
